Ensure the accurate and timely entry of Pre-Need cemetery contracts, insurance policies, funeral trusts, trade-in transactions, receipts and new customer data into the Company’s systems (HMIS) by using general knowledge of cemetery and insurance regulations and a thorough understanding of the Company’s products, services, sales, discount, commission, and receipts policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Audit and process pre need property contracts and funeral policies in accordance with cemetery and funeral regulations and internal SOX controls policies and procedures.

  • Accurately process pre need contracts in HMIS to ensure company revenue, sales recognition, and sales commission.

  • Audit contracts and policies for product and discount congruency.

  • Review and sign Detailed Sales Report.

  • Track all contracts and policies to ensure timely submission.

  • Accurately record cash receipts in HMIS for all down payments on pre-need cemetery contracts and Rose Hills Funeral Trusts.

  • Ensure all funeral policies initial payments are collected and forwarded to third party insurance company.

  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers at all times.

  • Ensure funeral and cemetery contract modifications are submitted for approval in a timely manner.

  • Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work.

  • Participate in training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer service.

  • Work according to safety standards set by the Company, state, and federal regulations. Report unsafe practices and equipment to management.

  • Help to reach Company’s SMART goals by understanding the Company Strategic Plan and ensuring that milestones are reached on time.

  • Operate PC with MS Office software skills

  • Intermediate Excel knowledge

  • Use calculator and 10-key

  • High degree of accuracy and detail oriented

  • Good organization and written & verbal communication skills

  • Good interpersonal relations skills

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Equivalent to high school education

  • Minimum two years of data entry experience
