Performs minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and completes repairs on all types of company vehicles
Performs preventive maintenance
Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and waxing
Performs periodic systems checks and daily maintenance checks of automotive equipment for interior and exterior cleanliness
Responds to minor emergency mechanical issues
Ensures vehicle maintenance supplies and parts are ordered and in stock
Provides full service on equipment all seasons
Checks gas and oil on daily basis
Checks tire pressure daily and maintains proper air pressure
Cleans and maintains garage area in an orderly condition
Reports any system malfunction of automotive equipment to the Location Manager
Ensures compliance with MAPS/WHEELS programs
Ensures all vehicles’ licenses and insurance are current
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High School or GED equivalent
Certification
- ASE certification preferred
Experience
- 1+ years of mechanic experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to work effectively with others
