Shadows sales associates and provides constructive feedback to improve sales techniques and motivate associate. Implement sales campaigns and programs into actionable items for sales teams.
Motivate and guide sales representatives to achieve monthly revenue quota. Run and review monthly sales reports with sales representatives. Discuss wins and missed opportunities. Develop a plan to increase sales contacts and reduce missed opportunities.
Shadow sales associates during sales presentations. Discuss observations. Provide actionable constructive feedback and guidance on processes, procedures, and regulations as well as sales techniques.
Implement sales plans, programs, and campaigns into operational actions.
Review sales achievement and quota projections with Sales Manager. Discuss concerns with Sales Manager and collaborate on options and recommendations. Implement solutions.
May present Pre-Need educational and sales information at seminars and community events.
Develop a strong, trusting, and reliable team. Understand team members career aspirations and provide assignments to develop skills and/or close gaps. Apply a proactive and collaborative management style in order to increase employee engagement. Monitor training and licensing requirements ensuring staff is re-trained/licensed prior to expiration.
Comprehends and responds to sales team’s questions regarding commission plans, base pay, and overtime 7i provisions.
In conjunction with Sales and Field Management, screens and interviews candidates (internal and external) providing hiring input.
Seek out feedback and advice from Sales and Field Management on managing, motivating, communicating, and influencing staff in order to develop management skills.
Shadow members of management and attend meetings to observe and glean skills. Share and discuss observations with shadowed manager gaining behavioral insight.
Collaborate with superior on self-development and people development for continual skill building and advice.
