The Administrative Assistant’s primary focus will be to provide assistance to Deputy General Counsel as well as other legal staff in our Corporate Legal Department. The primary focus for this position is generating, editing and proofreading documents and assisting with administrative filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Draft, edit and proofread contracts, letters of intent and prepare correspondence
Answer phones; redirect calls as appropriate or resolve calls when possible
Assist with drafting attorney engagement letters
Review, code and submit invoices for processing
Schedule meetings/conference calls, file, scan, make copies, arrange travel and complete expense reports
Support Administrative Assistant team as necessary
Assist on short-term “special projects” as assigned
Prepare wire transfers; process incoming checks for deposit with Treasury Dept.
Minimum of 3 years business experience as an administrative assistant and/or secretary is required
An Associates/Bachelors degree in English, Language Arts, Communications or a related field is a plus
Excellent reading comprehension and oral and written communication skills are required.
Must be dedicated, detail oriented, organized, proactive and self-motivated
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Word is required
Some overtime may be required
